The construction sector is witnessing important changes.\u00a0 As of the 17th\u00a0of December, 2018, it has been mandatory for bids for public building work to incorporate BIM requirements.\u00a0 For infrastructures, the mandate will come into effect on the 26th\u00a0of July, 2019 (Ministry of Development). Meanwhile, during the fall, a Government Agreement of the Generalitat de Catalunya will be approved for all projects of more than 5.2 million euros per work and 300,000 euros per project.<\/p>\n

Already, large private projects are being executed in accordance with the requirements of this new methodology.<\/p>\n
