The construction sector linked to the Public Administration is witnessing changes of great importance. The tenders of the Ministry of Public Works Building will have to incorporate BIM requirements from December 17, 2018, two days before this day, and, for infrastructure, the obligation will be effective as from 26 July 2019. Meanwhile, during this autumn, a Government Agreement of the Generalitat de Catalunya has already been approved for all projects of more than 5.2 million euros per work and € 300,000 per project.
BIMtour is an initiative to help a greater number of agents of the AEC sector in its process of transition to new work models in accordance with the requirements demanded by the Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0.
Objective of the day
The three-hour day will present what is the BIM, tips to implement it in an easy way, what tools are necessary (hardware, software and systems) and how with this new methodology will contribute to transforming the way to project, build and maintain the buildings and infrastructures of our territory.
