BIMtour for Builders and Industrialists

Barcelona, 19th of November

PLACE

Canòdrom Parc de Recerca Creativa

SCHEDULE

10:00am to 1:00pm

Change of time:

4:00pm to 7:00pm

The construction sector linked to the Public Administration is witnessing changes of great importance. Bids for public building work must incorporate BIM requirements as of December 17, 2018 and, for infrastructures, the obligation will be effective as of July 26, 2019 by the Ministry of Development.

Already, a large number of private projects are being executed in accordance with the requirements of this new BIM methodology.

BIMtour is an initiative to aid the largest number of agents in the AECO sector in their transition towards creating working models in accordance with the requirements demanded by Advanced Architecture and Construction 4.0.

Objective of the day

The day will present what BIM is, tips to implement it in an easy way, what tools are necessary (hardware, software and systems), and how this new methodology will contribute to transforming the projecting, building, and maintenance of buildings and infrastructures.

It interests you if you are…

builder or contractor that provides Construction Project Management or work execution services to public administrations and entities, to other private developers and builders, as well as to any other AECO agent that you need to subcontract according to BIM requirements.

An industrial manufacturer of construction equipment and materials and want to market them in public projects tendered according to BIM requirements, to developers and private builders, or through prescribers who work with BIM (architects, engineers, interior designers, urban planners …).
